Heart Magic was founded in 1998 by Documentary film maker Kim Kindersley and Philanthropist Elaine Seiler. Heart Magic was originally set up to assist the Aborigines in Australia, specifically the Mirning People, who were declared extinct in the 1950's. Since then, they have raised funds for the Dalai Lama's school in Nepal, and have forged relationships with the Pierce Brosnan Family Foundation, Greenpeace, and Planet Ark, among others. Current efforts are centered on connecting celebrities and people all over the world with causes and issues that matter. They use multimedia presentations to bring attention to indigenous issues, forests and trees, whales and dolphins, and humanitarian issues.
